I am very similar in that I struggle finding motivation for my own ends but when I have someone else expecting something from me I really go all out. I am motivated by praise and recognition and am not the best at giving those things to myself so I find myself seeking it from others. This Substack is the first thing I’m doing just for me, and sticking with it too! There is hope for us all! Loll

Thanks, your posts and videos are the kick up the butt I need sometimes! It's funny how we choose creativity as an outlet and then get in our head and our own way about doing it... when really it should be fun, and playful, and not another task that we stress about. So trying to keep that in mind when I am doing stuff. On a side note - would like to know if you listen to any good playlists when you want to get into a focus zone??
