Thank you for writing this post! I am a fine art photographer who has become a little known for my abstract landscapes. But I love to make work on so many other subjects. It has felt like I needed to cultivate that at the expense of other things. Thanks again!
Thanks for reading Steve! It's such a tough balancing act because we want distinct style but usually artists have multiple interests or we can feel drawn to different things at different junctures of our lives. I try and have an element of consistency if I can, like bringing through one aspect that feels like "me" so it all ties together but can be different.
You are so right! We are many different things and this will likely change as we change as people. It's a fine balancing act trying to nail a consistent look/style or output so you feel distinct but then also not pigoening holing yourself so much you are bound to one thing. Thanks for reading :)
Thank you for tnis, it was what I needed to hear. I love photographing people but also travel and stiill life. I can’t fit all my interests in one box. I’ve decided to embrace everything 🤩
You are s welcome Rachel. I'm glad that this could be the permission you needed to be the multifaceted creative that you are. I always struggle with this and despite the "one thing" approach being more conducive to online success in the short term, I really believe there is far more longevity in embracing it all and showing who you are! Thanks for reading :)

You read the minds of many. Niche? Theme? Style? Many of us are all over the place.

I tried to niche down trying to create 3 different brands what a waste if time. I’m finally embracing that I’m the niche. 🙌
Yes to this!!!! YOU ARE THE NICHE!
Great read but I have a question...what about the creatives who don't have a niche? What about the multi genre writers?
Thank you! Nice one - I hope you are enjoying it. I have another video coming out soon that touches more on the book 📕 so keep an eye out
