Lucy - great article and I agree that values and purpose are at the heart of setting the right goals and achieving them. Also - I am just wondering - you use the word “finically” a few times - which I hadn’t come across but which Google defines as “being exacting, especially about the details” which seems very appropriate for a photographer - however in the context you have used “finically” the word “financially” seems to make more sense? There is a sort of irony that I am being “finically” (or finicky) in writing this but it’s such a great post I couldn’t help but ask. (PS - I am also intrigued by your picture review service - more to follow on that) Thanks Matthew

Hello Matthew!

Thank you for your kind words about this article. I am so embarrassed 😳 it is 100% meant to say financially! It must be auto correcting maybe…but to be completely honest with you I really struggle with spelling and grammar and I left school very early when I was 14 and I have avoided lots of things due to not having a proper education but I love writing and sharing my thoughts. Obviously anyone can improve their writing skills if they keep at it so it’s no excuse but I do find I tend to struggle with certain words sometimes even though now you have pointed it out it’s so obvious haha. Thanks for being curious and not mean about though.

On the portfolio review front - I have one spot left for early February and have been enjoying providing this service immensely. Head to my Lucylumen.com to read more or let me know if you have any questions about it! Thank you 🙏🏻
